HTC Desire 820 : India's first 64-bit processor smartphone

HTC han launched India's first 64-bit processor Android phone named HTC Desire 820. It's price is still not disclosed and it will be available in November.

By looking at phone one can easily identify it as a HTC phone because it follows the same design as the previous HTC phones.

It has 5.5-inch LCD Capacitive touch-screen having HD resolution(1280x720p) which gives you 267 ppi pixel density which is not bad at all. Currently it is a 16GB variant having 2GB RAM. It is enriched with 13MP rear and 8MP front camera which is a plus point of this phone. You can record 1080p videos via front camera also.

It has 1.5 Ghz Cortex A53 Quad-core + 1.0 GhZ Cortex A-53 Quad-core processor and Adreno 405 GPU.

Additionally, it has 2 front speakers and a non-removable 2600 mAh battery. It has a bluetooth 4.0 and a microSD card slot(up to 128 GB).

HTC has not disclosed which version of Android they will be using for this phone. Currently Android KitKat doesn't support 64 bit processors but the upcoming Android L does.
The success of this phone India will depend on it's price only. Probably in November this phone will be available in market
