Today most of the people are using various social networking websites. LinkedIn is one of the very famous professional network for users to grow their contacts and find relevant job and 24x7 updated profiles.LinkedIn claims that they have around 161 million members across 200 countries.Last year company share value was $45 and within 1 year they increased it up to $93.
We recently came to know that LinkedIn website has been hacked by Russian Hackers and they have stolen around 6.4 million account's usernames and passwords.
LinkedIn director Vicente Silveira's words for this attack , "We can confirm that some of the passwords that were compromised correspond to LinkedIn accounts. We are continuing to investigate this situation. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our members. We take the security of our members very seriously".
If you are the one unlucky user that your password is stolen then don't worry because LinkedIn has managed to find those users whose passwords were stolen and they have disabled those accounts for now. LinkedIn team will send you e-mail to reactivate your account with a new password, soon. Hackers will do their work and Security experts will manage to have such a security that no one can break it.
